Sangareddy: Despite the forecast of heavy rain in several districts in Telangana, the southwest monsoon was weak over Telangana during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday. The associated upper air cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above the mean sea level tilting southwestward with height. It is likely to become more marked during next 48 hours. According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at many places across the State from August 14 to 17.
