first_imgUWF Men’s Soccer Drops to No. 19 Kansas City, Ks. — The University of West Florida men’s soccer team fell nine spots to No. 19 in the latest NSCAA Division II Top 25 Poll which was released Tuesday. Last week the Argos reached a season high coming in at No. 10 before suffering a tough loss to Gulf South Conference opponent Christian Brothers on Saturday. Despite the loss, the Argos remain ranked inside the Top 25 for the fifth consecutive week. In the loss to Christian Brothers, a late second half goal by the Bucs upset the then No. 10 Argos 1-0. The Argos look to rebound this weekend as they host Alabama-Huntsville on Friday night at 7:30pm CT for Homecoming and Delta State on Sunday at 3pm CT. Avjet Corp. of Burbank sued Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, seeking nearly $35,000. It claims Lopez has yet to pay for two flights on Gulfstream jets from Farmingdale, N.Y. – one to Puerto Rico on Jan. 26, and another to Burbank on May 25.
